Creative Sprint

In recent years, more and more companies are understanding the relevance of creativity in the workplace. With countless articles and case studies being published about the topic, VCU has decided to integrate creativity into its strategic plan. Part of this integration includes the radically new approach of hosting an artist-in-residence, Noah Scalin, within the VCU School of Business. Scalin, famous for his “Skull-A-Day” initiative, tasked us to participate in an unorthodox assignment that was dubbed the “Creative Sprint.” This sprint further opened my eyes to see the world from as many different perspectives as I can. After participating in the Creative Sprint and writing about my experiences, Scalin, and his sister Mica Scalin, chose to feature my work and interview on the Creative Spring website; found here.
